Fleet Express USA - Gasboy® support

Data Design announces support for the Gasboy remote fuel site system. Fleet Express USA fully automates the import of data gathered electronically from the Gasboy card-reader. The data can be viewed and edited using features designed to help you get accurate data into your system. If your employees provide inaccurate meter readings, the Gasboy import process will help you find the errors and even suggest a sensible meter reading. And if a fuel-card or fuel-key was used for the wrong vehicle, you can easily move the fuel record to the proper vehicle. If you have remote sites that can only be reached by phone lines, then you will benefit from the error-correcting features in FleetExpress that will detect data-transmission errors that the Gasboy systems miss. This allows you to correct the errors or poll the card-reader again.

The reporting of fuel consumption includes the ability to generate a pre-configured GSA Fuel Reimbursement report, in addition to the reports that reflect the user's own selection criteria.

Fleet Express USA - Enterprise, for Oracle®

Data Design announces the availability of the Oracle-based Enterprise version. This version provides all of the features of the Network version, plus integration with your existing systems, and the data resides in your Oracle® database. For sites that already use the Oracle database, or that need to step up to a robust, fully scalable database, Fleet Express USA is ready for you.

Requirements: Oracle 8x or higher, Windows 2000 or Windows XP workstations.

The prior Enterprise product, which utilizes Microsoft's SQL-Server database, will still be supported.

Fleet Express USA - Network, for MS-Access®

Data Design announces the availability of the Access-based Network version. This version replaces the Paradox-based version, which will still be supported but is no longer being shipped.

Requirements: Windows 2000 or Windows XP workstations, and optionally, Windows 2000/2003 server.

We are offering free data migration to any site that upgrades from the Paradox version to this new Network version in calendar 2003 or 2004.
